trying to conceive & i keep bleeding?

Me and my boyfriend decided on trying to conceive about 2 months ago . I was on birth control since i was 12 on & off . So i’ve only been off for 2 months now, July will be the 3rd & also the 3rd month of us trying to conceive. Well i just had my period, i started last sunday & i was supposed to get off the coming up saturday & my periods have always been like that & they were the last period or 2 i had befor this one . Well i quit bleeding friday completely & saturday i bled jus a LITTLE bit for like 5 minutes and then quit . I drunk last night & today i started bleeding a little bit when i wiped, Its a light colored blood. This couldnt be from the drinking could it? & do you think my periods are jus becoming ir regular now because ive been on birth control for ( going on 3 months ) now ?

Also can anybody give me tips on how to get pregnant ? Im not gonna worry about it anymore, like stress but im just curious (: .. Also how long does it take for the pill to get out of my system if its not already? I was on tri sprintec .

I want to get pregnant in the beginning of May of next year. I run out of my birth control pills in mid-January so I will be charting my cycle starting then.

I plan to take my temperature and chart my cervical mucus for 3.5 months before trying to conceive.

Please note that I am not a regular smoker. I have the occasional smoke while drinking but that’s about it. I haven’t had a smoke or a drink on over a month.
