Question by hc: How do I stop worrying about getting pregnant?
My boyfriend and I are trying ton conceive and it’s been almost a year and we haven’t had any luck. I read somewhere that when you stop worrying about getting pregnant, stop putting a conscious effort into it, and/or just give up — it usually happens. I’m trying to not think about it but it’s always lingering in the back of my mind. Does anybody have any tips on how to stop thinking about it? It’s so difficult not to because I want a child so bad! Please help

My husband and I have been trying for over a year now and its absolutely hard to stop thinking about trying to conceive. On most months I sit and wonder if this will be the month and I know I shouldn’t do things like that. When its time for my period I sit and get excited when I’m only one day late and then suddenly it comes the next day and I get disappointed. I understand what you mean about how to stop thinking about it, but its really hard!
I think that every woman who is trying to conceive should so a few things during the month. Right after the end of your cycle you should spend a day at the spa. You should pamper yourself the whole entire day and that would get your mind off of it. You should then go home and for the next days and weeks make yourself beautiful every day. Dress to the nines and make everything match. Put on makeup, do your hair and make yourself fill wonderful. During the time that you may be ovulating wear sexy clothes to bed and challange your mate to get them off of you. Initiate sex with him instead of making it a chore that you do every night in hope of conceiving. Have sex without thinking about it. Don’t plan the love. . . just be in love. . . and when everything is said and done at the end of the month if you discover that this month was your month then rejoice. If not then know you tried and relax. You get to know that you and your mate LOVED one another endlessly and that you are as beautiful as the day that you met him and you do it all over again the following month. You can’t just stop thinking about it. Thats not going to work. However, if you make love instead of baby making all the time your chances are higher. I really honestly believe that if you have sex because you are in love with one another and love is the main reason of having sex that orgasms are stronger and the possibility of pregnancy is higher. If you have sex just to baby dance then it isn’t as powerful and is to much of a routine!
