It has already gotten expensive for testing and whatnot with insurance that does not cover fertility issues. I still have a few rounds of clomid but if they do not work I will be sent to a fertility specialist. It may result in invetro if nothing else works and I know that can be very expensive. How many of you got infertility insurance. How much did it cost and how much did you save?
What is a good vitamin that me and my husband could take to help with our infertility problem? We have been trying to conceive for almost 4 years now. Any advice will help.
I live in the sate of Arizona and I would like to know if anyone can let me know how I can find what insurance companies cover infertility.
My current insurance does not cover any infertility services. I was going to shop around to see if there are any that do, but I thought I would ask here first. I used to have Regence BlueCross/BlueShield (I think) and it covered an ultrasound and a consultation, but not an HSG test. Maybe it was how the doctor coded it, I don’t know. Anyway, does anybody know of any insurance plans that do cover infertility services? I live in Washington state by the way, if that narrows anything down. Thanks.

I have been told that there are a few certain tests that your doc will do first to test for infertility like blocked ovaries and others. I am wondering exactly what they are and the procedure of them? Also, can a man "do his thing" at home and take the sperm into the docs to be tested? I think doing that at home would be better as it would be a more relaxed and familiar atmosphere. I have heard that it is possible-but has anyone actually done this?? Thanks!
