Can anyone recommend a fertility specialist/Ob/GYN particularly with focus on natural fertility?

Question by Mini C: Can anyone recommend a fertility specialist/Ob/GYN particularly with focus on natural fertility?
I live in Epping, Melbourne area… I would like to give birth at Northpark Priv hosp in Bundoora (once I actually get pregnant). Been trying 8 mths and need some professional advice & general gyno.

Would love to find a specialist who believes in a more natural approach as I’m seeing a naturopath.

Thank you kindly!
My Dr’s not very good (so a good one of those would be great too!) but he sent me to a gyno who basically stood outside the door and communicated with his assistant, who then communicated with me and suggested a lapero and hysteroscopy… I’d like something more personal & would like to talk through things with a pro before going down that route… preferrably looking at natural ways

Ask your GP to recommend an OBGYN to you.

You can go and see them, ask them the questions and see whether they are the right specialist for you.

I have PCOS and I am seeing a Chinese Doctor that specialises in female infertility (undergoing acupuncture and taking mixture of natural herbs).

I’ve done a bit of research and combining western medicine with natural therapy (whether it be chinese medicine or naturopathy) is a good thing. They complement one another. So, if you start undergoing fertility treatment with OBGYN I’m sure they would encourage you to continue with the natural approach.

I started off with the natural approach – but I have now decided after a few months to supplement it with western medicine – hopefully the two combined (east and west!) get the job done.

Best of luck and wekk done for inluding natural therapy in your treatment!

I’m looking into doing a natural fertility cleanse kit…but they’re rather expensive, so I’m hoping to hear feedback from others who may have tried it first.
