How long should you wait to conceive after breast reduction?

Question by sourocean17: How long should you wait to conceive after breast reduction?
I am in the process of preparing for a breast reduction and I was wondering if anyone knows how long you should wait after a breast reduction to get pregnant? My husband and I already have a 2.5 yr old and we are planning to ttc in the near future. He’s in the military so the soonest opportunity we would have would be December and then not again until August/September 2008. I haven’t had a chance to speak with my surgeon about this concern yet, so I was hoping someone here has experienced this. Assuming things go as planned, we would conceive appr. 8-10 weeks post-op. Is that too soon?
Because I’ve had back problems for several years now which are exacerbated when I am pregnant. Also, I had problems after the birth of my son do to excess milk production (too much glandular tissue). I almost lost my left breast due to mastitis. The question at hand is not whether I should have a reduction or not. I’m having it. I just want to know if it’s okay to ttc in December, or should I wait until next year. We wanted our children born close together but due to deployment with the military and a miscarriage, it hasn’t happened so far. If I get pregnant in December, our son will be 3 by the time the next baby is born. If we wait until next year to ttc, he will be 4.

Anyway, my point is, is it too physically early to ttc 8-10 weeks post-reduction?

I think you are underestimating the recovery. Your breast will grow. Why don’t you just wait til after the second baby is born? A surgeon who suggests doing it before you are finished with your children, is in it for the money. What happens when the breasts grow again? I wouldn’t do it until after it.

What are some hilarious costume ideas for two people, who aren’t a couple?

Question by amerdoodle41: What are some hilarious costume ideas for two people, who aren’t a couple?
My best friend and i are kicking around Halloween costume ideas, last year we were Paris Hilton in prison stripes and Nicole Ritchie way pregnant also in prison stripes! It was a big hit! This year we want to top it, but we are falling short. The only ideas we have come up with are LC and Audrina from the hills all black tear streams! and Slod and Beater the techno twins from that AT&T commercial. We are supremely worried no one but us will get the joke. Any Suggestions?

How can I conceive a baby that is born with a head full of hair?

Question by bubble_gum_pop_princess: How can I conceive a baby that is born with a head full of hair?
I’m actually just curious, I’ve always loved babies (especially baby girls) who are born with a head full of brown hair better than bald babies. I’m wondering if it’s possible to conceive a baby that is born with a head full of hair? I’m wondering how does it work and is there any way knowing if your baby will be born with a head full of hair vs a bald baby?

Answer by ougirl
Typically the morning after pill does a number on your body. It may cause bleeding, cramping, nausea, etc. It may just be the effects of the pill that you are feeling. It is however possible that you may be pregnant considering you are not using contraception. Try a home pregnancy test.

How can I not conceive having intercourse on fertile days?

Question by Kaytee: How can I not conceive having intercourse on fertile days?
We have been TTC for 2 months, and both months we had sex right on fertile days just before ovulation (based on my BBT and CM). I have a standard 28 day cycle with an ovulation on CD14, regular periods, and my husband has a normal sperm count. It looks like I should conceive if we time it right, but – nope! My period just came today :(
Does it happen to you?

Yes, all the time. I think each month there is only a 25% chance that there is an egg released.

way to get pregnant

Question by Bratt: Is there any way to get pregnant when you have already had a tubal without surgery?
Okay tubal reversal surgery is very expensive so does anyone know any ways to get pregnant after a tubal without surgery? Any advice will be wonderful whether it be religious, superstitious, or any other tricks anyone knows!

Please don’t say in vitro because it costs more that the reversal and is less effective.

If your doctor messed up or you were very young when you had the procedure and your tubes grow back or you experience a tubal pregnancy that without proper diagnose and treatment ie. termination of the pregnancy, you’ll likely die. Basically, you made a commitment not to become pregnant when you had the sterilization. Women and men who try to reverse these procedures or who regret them are generally flaky. Perhaps joining a cult or a new age religion will help. No, it won’t get you pregnant, but it will ease your desire to be around others who are generally flaky.

Considering that the mechanics of pregnancy and conceiving are in fact based on science and biology my answer is good. Clearly, you didn’t think or educate yourself about your decision to be sterilized.

For healthy normal couples it could take up to a year to conceive.
My DH and I have been trying for 2 years now, with one miscarriage and one ectopic pregnancy. Just keep trying. God will know when you are ready. Be healthy and do not use alcohol or smoke.

Good Luck
